In this fast-changing world, people tend to do things instantly.  Instant food is a commodity now many people have resorted to eat daily.  It is convenient and does not require much time to prepare and cook.

Unconsciously, your body itself has been turned into an arena of good and bad cells.  The synthesized and commercialized food, beverage, and medicines give only temporary relief.  If you are not aware of this, read further.

Instant Food – Instant foods are stimulants.  They make us feel good but they only suppress what we really feel.  The preservatives and the ingredients used within contain so much toxic waste it rapidly builds up and clogs the passageways in our system.

Synthesized Medicines – While it holds true that medicines give relief and cure to ailments, the risk of getting dependent has grown immensely.

Amongst all the substances that your body needs to have and should never be without is fiber.  Fiber prevents and even treats almost every ailment you can feel.  Because your body is highly dependent on what you take in – food you eat, beverage you drink, air you breathe, even things that come in contact with your skin – contain toxic substances that are detrimental to your health.  However, fiber definitely flushes these toxins away.

Vitamins and Minerals
These two are you might call “peas-in-a-pod” within our body.  Our body is composed of millions of cells.  For them to survive they need to be fed and nourished with the right nutrients.  The cells in our body has different functionality depending on which system it is located.  Vitamins and minerals are required to improve, repair and heal the cells in order to survive.

By now, you should know that everything that surrounds us may have the possibility of making us ill.  What surrounds us may be detrimental to our health.  Another defense mechanism that we should include in our diet is the antioxidant.  Antioxidants are substances that prevent oxidative damage to the body.  They act as “free radical scavengers”.  They are widely used in the hope of preventing coronary heart disease and cancer.

Phytonutrients
Carotenoids, flavonoids and isoflavones are the best phytonutrients that have been found to cure heart diseases and prevent cancer cells build up.  Though there are still more to be discovered.  They are also called phytochemicals.  The term is generally used to refer to substances that aid in maintaining a healthy and energized body.

The list is near-endless with regard to plants and vegetables that contain these healthy substances.  Fortunately, literature abound wherein you can have information about how to integrate them in your food.  The good thing about eating healthy and naturally is that there is no over dosage in fruits, beans and vegetables.  There might be some effects in eating it a whole lot but it will not cause irreparable damage to your system.
